Who we are

KC POV is a product of KC Consulting, a marketing consultancy in Texas. When this page says "we", it means KC Consulting. You can reach us at kevin@kcconsulting.co.

The short version

You own what you give us and what we produce for you.
We use your material only to deliver the service to you.
Nothing is published for you. You approve every item and you post it yourself.
We do not build a voice model, and we do not use your face or voice to make synthetic media.
We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or share it between customers.
You can ask us to delete your material at any time.

What we collect

Account details. Your name and email address, so you can sign in.
Your interview. Your typed answers, or audio you record in your browser and its transcript. The audio is deleted once the transcript is stored.
Memos. A note you type or record; the recording is transcribed and deleted the same way.
What you upload or capture. Past posts, talks, transcripts, and screenshots or pasted text of posts, comments and messages you want help replying to, with their links. A screenshot is read by the AI model and kept in a private store while the capture is open.
Payment. If you subscribe, Stripe holds your card and billing details; we hold the subscription reference, the plan and your email.
Google, if you connect Gmail. The email address of the Google account you connected and a token that lets the product send email from it, stored encrypted and never shown to KC's operators. Nothing from your mailbox is read.
LinkedIn, if you connect it. Your member id and name, an access token stored encrypted and never shown to KC's operators, the posts published from the product, and LinkedIn's counts for them.
What we produce for you. Your point-of-view profile, drafts, and a record of which items you approved, edited or rejected.
Basic technical records. Sign-in sessions, error reports, and a log of how much AI processing your account used. Error reports are set up not to include your content.

We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site.

What we use it for

To deliver the service: to write your profile, your content and your speaker kit in your voice, and to show them to you for approval. We also keep records of approvals and of AI usage so we can run the service responsibly and know what it costs. We do not use your material for anything else.

How the drafting works

Drafts are produced with an AI model from Anthropic, using your own interview and uploads as the source. To do that, the relevant parts of your material are sent to Anthropic for processing. We will not put a credential, result, number or experience in a draft unless it traces to something you told us. You decide what is used.

Who helps us run the service

We use a small number of companies to run KC POV. Each one handles only what it needs to do its job:

Clerk, for signing in.
Supabase, for the database where your workspace is stored.
Vercel, for hosting the website and the application.
Anthropic, for AI drafting, for reading screenshots you send, and for the web searches behind the accounts and speaker lists.
Deepgram, for transcribing recorded audio. We send the training opt-out on every request; Deepgram states opted-out audio is retained only for the duration of the request.
Voyage AI, for turning text into numbers so drafts can be compared for similarity and voice.
Stripe, for payments.
Resend, for the invitation email to a managed customer.
Inngest, for running background jobs.
Sentry, for error reports.

We do not share your information with anyone else, except where the law requires it.

Who inside KC can see your workspace

The people at KC Consulting who are working with you. Customers cannot see each other's workspaces. That separation is enforced in the database itself, not only in the application.

How long we keep it

We keep your workspace for as long as you are one, under the agreement that applies then.

Your voice and your face

We record your interview so we can transcribe it and write from it. We do not build a voice model from it. We do not create video or audio of you. Nothing in this service uses your face or voice to generate synthetic media.

Google and Gmail

You may connect your own Gmail with your own click, so that a pitch email you wrote and approved can be sent from your own address to one person you choose. This is the only thing the product does with your Google account.

What we ask Google for. Permission to send email on your behalf (the Gmail "send" permission) and your email address. We do not ask to read, search, modify or delete any of your mail, contacts or other Google data, and we cannot.
How it is used. One message at a time, only when you press Send on a pitch you approved, to the one address you typed. The product never sends on its own, never on a schedule, and never in bulk. KC's operators cannot send from your account.
What we store. Your Google email address and a token that lets the product send. The token is stored encrypted under a key the operators do not hold, and is never shown or logged. We keep a record that a message was sent (which draft, which address, the message id) so you can see what left and when.
Who can see it. The data from your Google account is used only to deliver this feature to you. It is not shared with anyone, not sold, not used for advertising, and not used to train AI models, in line with Google's API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Disconnecting. Press Disconnect Gmail in the product at any time: the stored token is overwritten and the connection is marked revoked. You can also remove KC POV from your Google account at myaccount.google.com under Security, third-party access. We delete the stored address and the send records on request or when you close your account.

You may connect your own LinkedIn account with your own click. KC POV then acts only on your own profile and your own content: it publishes only items you have individually approved (you, or an operator after your approval, may schedule and publish them), and it reads statistics only for your own posts and profile. It does not read other members' content. Your token is stored encrypted and never shown to KC's operators. You can disconnect at any time, and we delete LinkedIn data on request or when you close your account. Publishing is switched off for every customer except a test account until it has been tested end to end.

Who the service is for

Adults, 18 or older. KC POV is not directed to children.

Your choices

Ask for a copy of what we hold about you.
Ask us to correct it.
Ask us to delete it. We will confirm when it is done.

Changes to this page

If we change how we handle your information, we will change this page first and update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will tell current customers directly.
